AI literacy: using AI with care
How AI systems work, where they can fail, what data to use and when human review is needed. We discuss risks and responsibilities through examples close to company work.

A leader needs to know where AI may help, which information it should have access to and how to assess an investment proposal. We work through those questions with industrial companies and their teams, from first experiments to a defined project.

Start with the foundations or with a specific need. The three modules move through AI use, business applications and the preparation of a project.
Choose which activities to improve
Each leader examines an activity in their function: decisions, available data, indicators and tools. The group selects applications worth exploring and sets aside those without a sound basis.

Prepare a project to take into the company
Guided workshops and individual sessions develop a concrete proposal: how to test it, what results to observe and which steps to take over the following 6–12 months.

Bring the questions you face at work into the room.
When can an answer be trusted? Which documents would an internal assistant need? How should two tools be compared? We alternate explanations, experiments and discussion of the results. Exercises use fictional cases and synthetic data; applied work starts from participants’ own activities.
- Production and quality: what information would let people consult procedures and documents while keeping the source in view?
- Sales: which steps from enquiry to customer context and proposal are worth examining?
- Leadership: what data and checks are needed before approving a project?
Uninform: four days from tools to a first project.
In June 2026, Raffaele Zarrelli taught the “LLM e Generative AI” module of Uninform’s Master AI per i Processi Aziendali. Seven non-IT participants worked through a fictional company, Caffè Brevia, comparing tools and finding answers in documents.
On the final day, groups built chatbot prototypes and each participant outlined an idea connected to their own work. This was a module within the Master, separate from the executive programme here. It shows how we design and run classroom work.

Do we have to buy all 52 hours?
No. Modules can be taken separately. The 52 hours refer to our complete three-module format.
Is the first module a legally mandated course?
No. It addresses the AI literacy skills referred to in Article 4 of the AI Act, adapted to the group. The law does not prescribe this course, fixed hours or a certificate.
Do participants need technical skills?
We agree on the starting point with the group. The foundation module builds the knowledge needed to use and assess the tools; later modules examine applications in more depth.
Will we use confidential company data?
Exercises use fictional cases and synthetic data. Any use of company materials needs to be agreed before the programme.
Does the course include building the software?
The workshop prepares and tests a project proposal. Building a company application is a separate piece of work.
